Karen works especially with people seeking careers in the real estate, mortgage finance and the financial services industries. Karen began her own career in the financial services industry, specializing in real estate finance. She worked for a number of large mortgage banking and mortgage backed securities corporations. Over time Karen gravitated toward credit operations and risk management, largely due to her abilities to evaluate and navigate complex situations and opportunities. Karen has worked with corporate clients from Fannie Mae, Kaiser Permanente-Southern California, Fed Ex, McBrieraty Consulting, and Arbonne.

Although her 25-plus year career in the financial industry has given her opportunities to understand business, government and political systems, Karen's passion has always been for the individual or teams of individuals. Her skills in successful management and team development enhance her services as a job and career coach. Because of her years of experience and training, Karen is able to offer strong, consistent, structured, and tailored programs for individuals. Accordingly they are able to navigate new paths in personal growth and professional development.

Karen has continuously extended her education by attending California Lutheran University, the University of Phoenix and New Ventures West, San Francisco where she received her Certification for Integral Coaching. Karen's coaching philosophy is centered on the belief that the clients themselves hold great potential for achievement and success. Karen has always practiced what she coaches: an individual can choose to constantly grow and learn.
