
About Harriet Katz, DSW, LCSW,

She has also been effective in coaching clients to raise their performances and to move up, across, and out of organizations to greener pastures.
Harriet has worked with corporate clients from Bayer Diagnostics, Xerox, Quintiles, GlaxoSmithKline, National Grid, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, The Bank of New York, The New York Mercantile Exchange, Time Warner, Adobe, and the United Nations. She is certified by the Five O'Clock Club, the Centre for High Performance Development (UK), qualified in the MBTI, and experienced in 360° interviewing and feedback, leadership development, and individual and team coaching.
Harriet co-hosted Tune In to Relationships, a weekly call-in radio program in New England, has been a public speaker before business and professional organizations as well as community groups. She has also written articles for publication.
Previously Harriet directed the Management Training Center at UJA/Federation- NY, was a Partner in Katz Martin Associates, a career development services firm, and an Associate Professor at Yeshiva University. In addition, she served as Associate Director of Fundraising at the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundation, which raised over $400 million.
Harriet is a Board Member of the Association for Psychological Type-NY, past Secretary and Board Member of Association of Career Professionals International-NY, and past Vice President of the New York City Coaching Center. She has a BS from the University of Michigan, MSW from the University of California at Berkeley, and DSW from Yeshiva University.
Harriet's coaching draws from a variety of frameworks including behavioral psychology, coaching, and organizational development. She recognizes the significance of establishing clear goals, the influence of expectations, the power of focus, and the importance of strengthening behaviors. She has a deep respect for cultural and individual differences and she believes that the power for change resides in the individual.
