About Chip Conlin,

Chip has been a member of The Five O'Clock Club Guild of Career Coaches since 1996. He is currently the Manager of the Penn Station Branch of the Club that meets Wednesdays at 11 Penn Plaza in New York City. He also maintains an active private coaching practice, in which he advises retail and outplacement clients from a variety of professions, including information technology, financial services, marketing and the not-for-profit sector.

Chip brings 30 years' experience in human resources to his role at the Five O'Clock Club. His HR career has taken place in both the financial services and transportation industries. As past president of the New York Technical Recruiters Association, he developed IT industry expertise that he frequently incorporates into his speeches and private coaching. Chip also specializes in helping clients negotiate severance.

He has spoken on a variety of topics to such prestigious groups as the Forty Plus of New York, the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church's Job Search Series, and the NYC chapter of the Project Management Institute. He has also appeared on MSG's Metro-Learning Channel and on National Syndicate Radio.

Chip is a member of the Association of Career Professionals International and the Society for Human Resources Management. He holds a Master's degree in Sociology from New York University. With his unique blend of corporate Human Resources experience and mastery of the Five O'Clock Club methodology, Chip is very effective at helping clients land on their feet in the right job.
