
About Susan Bloch, Susan Bloch has been a certified Five O'Clock Club coach since 2002, working with individuals in many industries including financial services, education, publishing, and manufacturing. She has more than 15 years of business experience in the areas of human resource management, organizational development and career counseling.As Assistant Vice President for Career Planning in a large financial services institution, Susan has designed and implemented a company-wide program to educate employees on the career planning process and has provided individual assistance in career management. She has been a Director and Vice President of Human Resources for a number of companies, successfully training and coaching professionals and executives in the field of career development. She has also provided outplacement counseling in both individual and group settings.
Susan is currently a Human Resources Consultant providing services to both individuals and organizations. Along with recruitment, training and executive coaching, she offers career coaching services to professionals facing sudden job loss or mid-life career transitions, employees wanting more out of their careers, and recent college graduates needing assistance in starting their job searches.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the American Society of Training and Development and is a graduate of Coach U. She holds a B.A. in Social Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.A. in Organizational Management from Antioch University, where her research was in the area of change management.
