About Terry Pile

Terry is a results-oriented career coach with nearly twenty years' experience in corporate, non-profit and entrepreneurial settings.  She specializes in working with people who want to make a career change, are entering the workforce after a long break or who want to work from home.  Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, healthcare, marketing, education, hospitality, the arts and social services.  Terry completed certification for the Five O'Clock Club Guild of Career Coaches in May 2001.

Career change is not new to Terry.  Prior to starting her own career coaching practice, Terry worked as director of public relations/marketing for a healthcare system and senior account manager at Ogilvy & Mather, an international marketing communications company.  She also ran her own public relations consulting business and has taught in elementary schools and community colleges.  Her work/life experience has prepared her to teach others how to market themselves.

Terry has a Masters Degree in Education from Indiana University and a Certificate in Career Development from the University of Washington.  She is a certified career associate for one of the nation's leading outplacement firms and is an active member of the Puget Sound Career Development Association.  She is also a member of the National Career Development Association, the Society for Human Resource Managers, and the Association for Training and Development.
