About Carole Nimietz,

Carole Nimietz is a job search and career coach who works with midlife career changers in private practice in San Diego, CA. Ms. Nimietz has 20 years' experience in the field of vocational rehabilitation counseling. She has been in private practice for 9 years providing services as an expert witness in divorce litigation, vocational consultant, case manger, vocational rehabilitation counselor, vocational evaluator, career counselor and job coach.

Prior to her private practice she was a senior vocational rehabilitation consultant with a prominent private sector vocational rehabilitation firm in San Diego, CA. She has conducted hundreds of vocational evaluations leading to a realistic career plan. She understands the delicate needs of adults who are involved in a life transition due to divorce, disability, corporate restructuring or job dissatisfaction. Her broad experience includes State & Federal Workers' Compensation, long-term disability, Marital dissolution, Longshoreman Act and Cal State Teachers' Retirement System. She has worked successfully with high net wage earners as well as nurses, teachers, and attorneys.

She is a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and International Association of Career Management Professionals. Carole received her Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling from Kent State University in Ohio (1982). She received her Bachelors degree in communication disorders from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO (1979). Carole is nationally board certified as a Vocational Evaluator and as a Rehabilitation Counselor. She works in-person or by telephone.
