About Ell Miocene: Ell Miocene has been a member of our coach Guild since 1997. In addition to her private practice, she is a career coach at the Center for Career, Education and Life Planning at one of New York's leading universities. She counsels in-person, on the phone and via Internet correspondence. Ell is also on the adjunct faculty of the university's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She presents speeches and workshops on career and work-life balance topics on a regular basis. Her special interests are career change, new beginnings for retirees, and cross-cultural communications. Ell has an M.A. in Coaching and Guidance from New York University, and interned in outplacement at Chase Career Services. She also has an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second language. She is a member of the Association for Psychological Type, the International Association of Career Management Professionals and is MBTI qualified. Her background includes more than 10 years as a human resources manager. Ell is a former actress and acting techniques coach.
