About George Hahn
George has been in the career advisement field since 1987, and became certified in the Five O'Clock Club methodology in the summer of 2001; he has experience in private, public, and academic settings. Prior to 1987 he worked in business administration and customer liaison roles for several electronic engineering companies on Long Island. In his career coaching work he has counseled clients in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
He is currently on the staff of the Club's Manhattan Central Branch. He has designed and delivered job search workshops and coached individuals in a wide variety of backgrounds and career paths, from college students to senior citizens. He has taught Resume Writing in NYU's School of Professional Development and Life Planning, and has counseled students in Parsons School of Design Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program.
George is a member of the International Association of Career Management Professionals and the American Society for Training and Development. His education includes a BBA and an MBA, as well as a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology. He is certified to administer and interpret the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory.
