About Ciro DiSclafani

Since 1992 Ciro has been coaching senior and mid-level executives and managers on career issues. He is noted for his innovative and creative skills in helping people think ‚outside the box.ç He has developed extensive business connections and is a master networker.

 

Ciroçs twenty-five years of experience include working in a variety of capacities, e.g., flavor application specialist, packaging engineer and manager, consultant in the confections, pharmaceutical, household products and cosmetics industries. He made the transition to coaching and training when he founded a retail career coaching firm. He understands what it takes to manage transitions. He has worked as an adjunct career coach for an outplacement firm and for William Paterson Universityçs Special Population Workforce Program.

 

With his wife Louise he has designed, marketed and delivered a variety of inter-active Human Performance Workshops. The workshops topics include interpersonal skills, conflict management, delegation, management skills, customer satisfaction, stress management and managing work expectations.

 

Ciro has a BS in Chemistry from City University of New York and worked on an MBA in Marketing at LIU Graduate School of Business.

 

In addition to being a certified Five OçClock Club career coach, Ciro is also certified by the Workersç Transition Network, a organization that helps people recovering from disabilities make career transitions and achieve dignity.

 

Ciro works with his local Partnership for Community Health, a coalition of health providers, educators, foundations and business people. He is a member of the steering committee and the Managing Unhealthy Stress Goal Team. He also serves on the marketing and education committees for his Regional Chamber of Commerce.
