Personal Marketing Plan

Preparations For Interviews

After assessment, you want to make preparations to get interviews.

Have you made a list of all the organizations you want to contact in each target area?

This is called your "Personal Marketing Plan." With it, you will know where you are going in your search and will be able to measure how well you are doing in each target.

For example: Want an Internet-related job? Research is your key. Use the chart below to kick-start your research. First select the industries you are interested in. Some may not appear on the chart, but remember that "the Internet" itself is not an industry because it's too broad. Five O'Clock Clubbers define their sub-targets and then specific companies or projects within companies that have an interactive basis.
